Hey good people it's that time of the week again. Yes the day we all just like the best! Funny enough its the last day of the week but it's the day where we are filled up with loads and loads of energy then the other days of the week.
It's the day when you just feel like giving yourself a
Bells.Yes my good people it's friday. It is time for the weekend
gig guide. We all know that where there is fun there is alcohol but have you ever thought why people love
alcohol so much? Well some people hide behind the media and say it is because of the way alcohol is been marketed and
advertised it makes people love it and want to buy it. The adverts on tv make you just want to surrender to a drink or two. Really now?. Well tell me, if all the alcohol adverts would be cut off air. Would that make people stop buying and drinking it?

Nope! We would still drink the way we do every weekend, alcohol ads have nothing to do with the consumption.
ReplyDeleteNot at all, people are not exposed to alcohol just because of the adverts. Some feel it tje only way they will be able to have fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely not going to stop them from buying or drinking alcohol. They stopped advertising of cigarettes but a lot of people still smoke just as much as they did when they were advertised if not even more. So adverts are not the cause of consumption.
ReplyDelete@Itumeleng that's also how I see it.
ReplyDelete@mbali true hey, some people cant have fun without drinking.
ReplyDelete@Nthabi I think people will carry on buying even when the adverts are off air.
ReplyDeletealcohol is just alcohol at the end of the day, so I believe that people drink out of observations and how they feel
ReplyDeletetrue that!
DeletePeople will still buy alcohol regardless whether alchol gets cut off on television advertisements but the problem not as much people will be informed on the latest brands of alcohol and alcohol manufactories will lose money. At the end of the day the media will always play a big role in sharping how we think and without advertisements of alcohol alot of people will not buy alcohol.
ReplyDeleteSo lets just say that alcohol is there to stay!
Deletewe would still consume alcohol even though the ads are pulled off air. it would not make a difference because we know how it tastes and there is still peer pressure.
ReplyDeleteYes hey, because peer pressure also plays a huge role.
Deletepeople will still buy booze, dispite the fact that it will be bANNED from ads. NO acohol no fun. lets drink to that!
ReplyDeleteCheers!!! to that my man.
Deletebut we can still have fun without alcohol..its just that people made it a habit of consuming alcohol and believing its the only possible way to have fun..
ReplyDeleteSome people just cant seem to have fun without drinking.
Deletethe media does not force people to consume alcohol.its just what peole want. i personally dont think that to have have you must drink alcohol.its just a habit
ReplyDeleteand one thing for sure ,its a bad habit
Deleteda add does not influence anything, we jst lik da fun moment after it
ReplyDeletebut the adds do also play a role.
Deletealcohol is here to stay. Leave it alone.
ReplyDeletenow thats an idea
DeleteAlcohol is in the game currently, banning the ad wont encourage people from stopping. Party without alcohol is so boring. I personally think alcohol will keep on growing.
ReplyDeleteit is hey
Deletelol as for give that woman bells nice catchy slogan however i doubt most women would enjoy bells as their prefered drink of choice, yes alcohol ranks as medicine to some the way they worship it and really it does nothing for us though hey, but leave us in problems and more stress when over indulged
ReplyDeletedrinking is a choice. A person just needs to know themselves. if you get drunk and violent, then maybe drinking is not for you. Know yourself
ReplyDeleteyes it is a choice
Deleteyes that is true
DeleteI think what that would achieve is it would only stop people from buying alcohol on impulse.
ReplyDeletepeople wil carry on buying no matter what
